Scots Rose Greeting Card
Scots Rose Greeting Card
An Art Nouveau-style patterned card for plant lovers and steam train enthusiasts.
Inspired by the West Highland Railway in Scotland on which The Jacobite Steam Train crosses over the magnificent Glenfinnan Viaduct. Harry Potter film fans will know this bridge very well (the arches are a little jagged Dementor style). Down from the Glenfinnan Viaduct at the head of Loch Shiel, stands the Glenfinnan Monument: a tribute to the loyal Jacobites who rallied behind Bonnie Prince Charlie. According to legend, a white rose was picked by Bonnie Prince Charlie and pinned to his blue bonnet. The white cockade (a knotted white ribbon or cloth) became a symbol of allegiance to the Jacobite cause.
